Nancy Doherty Sadler is a founding partner with Griffith, Sadler & Sharp, P.A., who practices in the areas of automobile liability, construction litigation, premises liability, products liability, and general tort liability, as well as domestic relations law. She has tried many cases to a verdict instate courts in South Carolina, primariily in the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit, as well as the federal courts.

Before starting her current practice in 1992, Ms. Sadler received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina in 1976 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina in 1983. While at the University of South Carolina, Ms. Sadler was inducted into the Order of the Wig and Robe and became a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Sadler became a member of the South Carolina Bar in 1983.

Prior to starting her current practice, she served with the Beaufort County Public Defender's office and thereafter served on its Board of Directors until 2004. Ms. Sadler has taught paralegals in training at the Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort in the areas of Law and Ethics, Legal Research, Tort Law, Family Law, and Business Law. She currently serves as Beaufort County Magistrate on a part time basis.

Ms. Sadler is active in her local bar association having served as an officer of the Beaufort County Bar Association and President from 2002-2003. She is a member of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, South Carolina Bar Association, South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association and American Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice law in all South Carolina courts, the United States District Court, District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Sadler is certified as a mediator in the civil and family courts in South Carolina and is also a certified arbitrator.
