O. Edworth Liipfert, III is an associate who practices in the areas of workers compensation, automobile liability, premises liability, general tort liability, construction litigation, and insurance disputes.
Mr. Liipfert graduated from Woodberry Forest School in 1996, and he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Psychology from the University of North Carolina in 2000. While at UNC, Worth was President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, and he remains an avid Tarheel basketball fan.
Mr. Liipfert completed his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004,and passed the South Carolina Bar Exam in October. While in law school, Worth served as an Articles Editor on the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal and on the Student Bar Association. He was also a member of the Palmetto Legal Society throughout law school. He is currently a member construction litigation section of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Beaufort County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Young Lawyers' Division. He was a presenter at the 2007 South Carolina Workers' Compensation Education Association's Educational Conference on Workers' Compensation.
Mr. Liipfert is also actively involved in many civic organizations in Beaufort, including serving as the chair person of the Public Affairs Committee for the Lowcountry Young Professionals and serving on the Board of Directors for Friends of Caroline Hospice.
