Michael D. Freeman is an associate who practices in the areas of automobile liability, premises liability, products liability, general tort liability, construction litigation, employment law and insurance disputes.

Mr. Freeman graduated from Clemson University in 2000 where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. While at Clemson, Mr. Freeman was an executive member of the Pi Kappa Phi National Fraternity, as well as the faculty appointed representative to the Student Advisory Council.

Mr. Freeman completed his Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 2003, and was admitted that same year to the South Carolina Bar. While in law school, Mr. Freeman was a member of the Moot Court, holding the position of Vice Chancellor in 2002 and Chief Operations Officer in 2003. Mr. Freeman was also a member of the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity, as well as the Student Bar Association.

Mr. Freeman joined the firm in 2006 from Columbia, South Carolina, where his practice focused primarily on civil litigation. Mr. Freeman is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyer's Association, the South Carolina Young Lawyers' Division, and the South Carolina Policy Council.
